Zevay GLP‑1 Review: Is It Legit?
Zevay review: compounded semaglutide at $199 a month or $149 on a 12-month plan, its two named pharmacies, one with an open FDA warning letter, and refund terms.
- No FDA warning letter
- Names its pharmacy
- Prices checked Oct 24, 2026
Zevay is an online program that prescribes compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide through an outside physician network. It suits you if you want the pharmacy named and plan to stay on treatment for a year, when its price is lowest.
The price depends on the plan. Compounded semaglutide is $199 a month month to month, or $149 a month on a 12-month plan billed up front at $1,788. Tirzepatide is $249, or $187 a month on the 12-month plan ($2,244). The plan includes the medication, provider reviews and shipping.
We rate it 7.3 out of 10, tier Good. It names its pharmacies and its physician network and has no FDA warning letter of its own, but one of its two pharmacies has an open FDA warning letter about subpotent semaglutide and tirzepatide, and its pages show a "From" price without the plan behind it.
The catch is the fine print. The $149 and $187 prices are 12-month plans paid up front, a fact that shows only at checkout. Purchases are non-refundable, including the unused part of a plan.
No FDA warning letter is on file for Zevay in the FDA’s published warning-letter list as of Oct 24, 2026.

What is Zevay?
Zevay is run by Zevay, LLC. It describes itself as a "patient management platform" that does not provide medical or pharmacy services itself. Clinical care comes from "independent licensed physician networks, including Telegra MD". The site prints no street address; its terms are governed by Delaware law.
Here is how it goes. You take a short eligibility quiz, and a licensed provider reviews your intake. If you are approved, Zevay says your medication ships within 3 days. You choose your plan length at checkout, after approval.
Zevay sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide as weekly injections. It also sells NAD+, testosterone therapy and menopause hormone therapy, on separate pages. To read about the drugs themselves, see our pages on semaglutide and tirzepatide. Compounded GLP-1s are prepared by a pharmacy to a prescription, and they are not FDA-approved; the safety section explains what that means.
Is Zevay legit?
Zevay itself has no FDA warning letter on file, and its terms name its physician network and both of its partner pharmacies, with their addresses. That is more than many programs publish.
The pharmacy record is the concern. One of the two pharmacies, Boothwyn Pharmacy in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, received an FDA warning letter on January 16, 2026. The FDA found its semaglutide and tirzepatide injections below their labelled strength, and said lots that failed sterility testing were released. The FDA has not published a close-out.
The other gaps are in what the pages show. No clinician is named on zevay.com, and the state list is not published: the help center says it ships "to most U.S. states" and tells you during sign-up if yours is not served.
Not every route to Zevay starts on zevay.com. At least one third-party quiz site, Metabolic Outcomes, ends its quiz with a weight-loss projection "with ZEVAY" and sends the name, email and phone you enter to its own lead tracker and to a Meta advertising pixel. Its terms and privacy files are those of Adzingo Ltd, a UK company, not Zevay. If you reach Zevay through a quiz like that, the quiz company has your details before Zevay does.
How much does Zevay cost?
As of October 24, 2026, compounded semaglutide costs $199 a month month to month, $537 for a 3-month plan ($179 a month), or $1,788 for a 12-month plan ($149 a month). Compounded tirzepatide costs $249 a month, $672 for 3 months ($224 a month), or $2,244 for 12 months ($187 a month).
The 6-month plans cost more per month than paying monthly: $1,554 for semaglutide ($259 a month) and $2,154 for tirzepatide ($359 a month). Check the total at checkout before you choose one.
What the price covers: the checkout says multi-month plans "are billed upfront and include all medication, provider reviews, and shipping". There is no separate membership or consultation fee. Zevay is cash-pay and does not bill insurance; its help center says you may be able to use FSA or HSA funds.
The pages show less. The home page says "From $199 per month", the semaglutide page "From $149/month" and the tirzepatide page "From $187/month", none with the plan length. The $249 tirzepatide month-to-month price and the plan totals appear only at checkout.

How does Zevay work?
The care is online. A licensed provider from Zevay's affiliated medical group reviews your intake and decides whether treatment is right for you. The help center says each provider "is credentialed and licensed in the state where you receive care". Ongoing check-ins and support are included.
Two pharmacies fill orders, according to the terms: Southend Pharmacy, 415 Westheimer Road, Houston, Texas, and Boothwyn Pharmacy, 221 Gale Lane, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Zevay does not say which pharmacy serves which state, or whether each is a 503A pharmacy or a 503B outsourcing facility. The FDA lists Boothwyn as a 503A facility. You can also ask for your prescription to go to a licensed pharmacy of your choice.
Once approved, your prescription "typically ships within 2-3 business days", and some deliveries need a signature. The 12-month plans ship in four deliveries and the 6-month plans in two.
Is Zevay safe? FDA status and warning letters
Zevay has no FDA warning letter on file, and neither does Telegra MD, the physician network its terms name. Nothing is open against Zevay itself.
Its pharmacy is another matter. Boothwyn Pharmacy, LLC, at the address Zevay's terms list, has an open FDA warning letter dated January 16, 2026. After an inspection from May 12 to June 9, 2025, the FDA found that its semaglutide 2.5 mg/mL and tirzepatide 10 mg/mL injections "differed from and fell below their labeled strength". It also cited released lots that had failed sterility testing, and airflow problems in its sterile area. The FDA's compounding list also shows earlier inspections of Boothwyn in 2021, 2023 and 2025. Southend Pharmacy has no record on the FDA lists we check.
Zevay does not say which of the two pharmacies fills a given order, so we can't tell you which one would fill yours.
The bigger question with any compounded program is the drug itself. Compounded GLP-1s are prepared by a pharmacy to a prescription. They are not FDA-approved: the FDA doesn't review their safety, effectiveness or quality before they're sold, and they are not the same as Wegovy or Zepbound. Formulas can differ from one pharmacy to the next, and some add ingredients such as vitamin B12. Compounding pharmacies are licensed and inspected by state boards of pharmacy; outsourcing facilities (503B) also register with the FDA and are inspected by it. The FDA can issue warning letters when either breaks rules on safety or sterility.
How to cancel Zevay
You can cancel from your account or by emailing support. Cancel at least 3 business days before your renewal date, or the next billing cycle is charged. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
The refund rule is strict. "All purchases made through Zevay are non-refundable unless otherwise stated", and no refund is given for partially used or paused periods. If a provider finds you are not eligible, Zevay's product pages say you receive a full refund. Other refunds are "considered on a case-by-case basis".
Multi-month plans are paid up front and renew at the end of the term until you cancel. Only choose a long plan if you expect to stay on the medication that long. If you have side effects, talk to your provider.
Disputes go to individual arbitration in Delaware, with a class-action waiver. You can opt out by writing to Zevay within 30 days of first agreeing to the terms.
What customers say about Zevay
Zevay has no independent customer reviews we could find. It has no Trustpilot profile and no Better Business Bureau listing, and we found no discussion of it on Reddit, as of October 24, 2026.
The reviews on zevay.com are labelled "Verified Zevay Customer" and "Verified Buyer", but they don't link to any outside review platform, so we can't check them.
The patient stories on Zevay's pages are marketing, not results you can expect. This site collects no independent reviews of its own yet.
How we scored Zevay
Our score combines seven checks. Each one counts for a fixed share of the total, listed below. Commission is not an input.
- Price transparency: 9/10 (counts for 20% of the total score). Every price and fee is in the checkout, with no membership or consultation fee. We take a point off because the pages show "From" prices without the plan length behind them, and the plan totals and the $249 tirzepatide price appear only at checkout.
- Cost and value: 4/10 (counts for 15% of the total score). We compare month-to-month prices: $199 for semaglutide is above the median of the compounded programs we track.
- Medication and pharmacy traceability: 7/10 (counts for 15% of the total score). Both pharmacies are named with addresses, but Zevay does not state whether they are 503A or 503B, and neither is in the FDA's outsourcing register.
- Clinical access and oversight: 7/10 (counts for 15% of the total score). A named physician network, a stated shipping time and included check-ins, but no named clinician and no lab policy for GLP-1s.
- Safety and enforcement: 7.3/10 (counts for 20% of the total score). Zevay has no FDA warning letter, but Boothwyn Pharmacy, which its terms name, has an open one. A LegitScript seal shows on the site; we did not confirm it with LegitScript.
- Terms, commitment and refunds: 10/10 (counts for 10% of the total score). No minimum term, no cancellation fee and a stated refund rule.
- Availability and fulfilment: 7/10 (counts for 5% of the total score). Shipping is included, but Zevay says only that it ships to "most U.S. states", without a list.
This is the first score for Zevay. Confidence is low: we read its pages once, on October 24, 2026, and its plan prices from the checkout's catalog rather than a public page. One check carries an editor's adjustment, explained above; it lowers the total by 0.2. The method is on our methodology page.
